Crochet 101: Class 6 – Bringing It All Together: Scarf Project

Summary
Wrap up your beginner crochet journey with a final project that pulls everything you’ve learned into one beautiful piece—a cozy, textured scarf. In this sixth and final class, you’ll practice combining stitches, maintaining straight edges, and working with higher-end yarn options to create a scarf that’s both functional and uniquely yours.
Description
This 2-hour session is designed to help you reinforce and integrate all the skills covered throughout the Crochet 101 series. You’ll create a scarf that uses multiple stitch types—like single, double, and chain stitches—while focusing on techniques that ensure clean edges and consistent rows.
You’ll get hands-on guidance in crafting a polished piece with even sides and intentional design. The default fiber is Lion Brand Scarfie, a soft and sturdy wool blend—but you’ll also have the option to upgrade to luxurious hand-dyed yarn from Ruby & Roses for an extra-special finish.
By the end of this class, you’ll:
-
Combine multiple stitch types within one project
-
Maintain straight, even edges throughout a longer piece
-

-
Walk away with a wearable, cozy scarf that shows off your full skill set
