Perfect for those who benefit from deep pressure or simply love cozy, comforting textures, this two-part class helps you build confidence working with large-scale materials while making something truly comforting.
Description
This is a two-part class designed to give you enough time and support to complete a substantial and meaningful project. Across both sessions, you’ll work with Bernat Blanket Extra, a soft and sensory-friendly jumbo-weight yarn, using an 15mm hook to create your own weighted blanket.
In Part 1, we’ll introduce the yarn, go over how jumbo materials behave differently, and begin the project with guided instruction on stitch structure, tension, and sizing.
In Part 2, you’ll return to finish your blanket, learn tips for maintaining consistency, and troubleshoot any sections you’d like help with.
You’ll leave with a finished or nearly finished blanket and the skills to make more on your own.
