Our Return Policy

At The Strand, we want every single purchase to be an experience that you enjoy, and we want you to love whatever you choose to create! However, we know that sometimes things don’t go as planned. Please review our return policy below.

Returns & Exchanges

• Unused, unwound yarn, embroidery floss, or other fibers that we stock may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase with a receipt.
• Items must be in original purchase condition (no odors, pet hair, smoke, moisture, or damage).
• Returns without a receipt may be eligible for store credit at the current selling on the date of the return.

Non-Returnable/Refundable Items

• Wound yarns, threads, floss, string, cord, and other fibers.
• Tools (defective tools may be returned in 7 days with a receipt)
• Items with missing or with broken labels
• Cut fibers
• Patterns (printed or digital)
• Books and magazines
• Custom or special-order items
• Sale or clearance items
• Classes, workshops, or ticketed events
  

   

Kits

• If any part of a kit has been opened or used, the kit is non-returnable unless the kit is defective. Return of kits is at the discretion of The Strand staff.

Tools & Equipment

• Tools and equipment may be returned within 7 days if defective, unused, in original packaging, and with a receipt.

Online Orders 

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt so we can make things right for you.
